Welcome to the autumn edition of our e-newsletter. It’s all change in the glasshouses at the Nurseries. The team have been busy producing the autumn bedding plants over the past few weeks. We have had a tremendous amount of plant stock delivered including a superb range of trees and specimen shrubs. Whether, you have a small space to fill or undertaking a new project, we can help. The autumn is the perfect time for planting whilst there is still warmth in the ground. This enables the plants to get established before the cold of winter arrives. Both the glasshouses and outside plant area are bursting with colour – from flowers and berries to beautiful foliage, so why not pay us a visit today.
Spring Flowering Bulbs
We have a great selection of spring flowering bulbs for planting this autumn in stock now. We have prepacked bulbs, loose bulbs & bulk bags available. They offer excellent value for money and will add vibrant colours to your garden after the dreary winter months. As well as borders, consider planting them in containers with your autumn & winter bedding plants for an extra burst of colour in the spring.

Our home-grown autumn & winter flowering pansies, panolas, violas, wallflowers and cyclamen are ready now. Autumn Garden Care
Autmn is traditionally a time to tidy up the garden and prepare it for winter. After such a dry & hot summer, the lawn is desperate for feeding with an autumn lawn care product. We stock Westland after cut all in one autumn lawn feed & moss killer. This will encourage root growth, enabling the grass to absorb more nutrients without producing soft leaf growth which can be damaged by frosts and will kill the moss. We have a range of hand tools to help you tackle those autumn jobs such as clearing leaves, planting bulbs, harvesting fruit and pruning. We have a various types of gloves, wellies & cloggies too.
Animal Care
Our bird care section is well stocked for autumn and winter. We have plenty of specialist bird feeds in a range of sizes including bulk bags which are excellent value for money. We have various bird feeders, suitable for different types of feed including squirrel proof options. We stock a range of nest boxes, bird tables & habitats for bugs, bees & hedgehogs which make great gifts too.
