Welcome to the winter edition of our e-newsletter. With the shop & glasshouses looking so colourful and Christmassy, why not come and visit us? Apart from a great selection of Christmas trees and all you need to decorate your tree & home; we have some great gift ideas too.
Christmas Trees & Wreaths
We have a great choice of cut and potted Christmas trees in stock now including Nordmann Fir, Fraser Fir and Norway Spruce. We can wrap your tree to make transportation home easier. Don’t forget a Christmas tree stand too. Ideally choose one which holds water. As, in previous years, we will be taking part in the Tewkesbury Borough Council’s “Treecycle” scheme in early January. Our team have been busy making up wreaths which have been decorated with natural and artificial decorations. We have holly wreaths too.
Christmas Decorations
We have a great range of battery & mains operated lights for decorating the tree, home or garden. We have a wide selection of tree decorations and festive ornaments, tinsel, artificial garlands and wreaths. We stock Christmas cards for relations and packs of charity cards as well as everything you need for festive wrapping.
Seasonal Houseplants
We have a colourful display of seasonal houseplants and pot covers in the glasshouses. Our popular amaryllis gift sets are available now. Our team have made up beautiful indoor bowl arrangements perfect for gifts or to brighten up your home.
Bird Care
Don’t forget the birds this winter. Our bird care is well stocked with plenty of specialist bird feeds including bulk bags, nesting boxes, bird feeders and bird tables. We have gift packs available too, ideal for Christmas presents.
Logs & Winter Car Care
For those cold, wintry days, we have locally supplied bags of logs, kindling wood and firelighters. We also stock a range of winter car care products including screen wash, de-icer and antifreeze.
The Plant Area
The Nurseries is well stocked with trees, shrubs and soft fruit bushes including raspberry canes. We have colourful holly bushes & standard holly, beautiful hellebores and camelias too. Our bare root hedging is available now. It offers great value for money if you’re planting a hedge or filling in a gap. Potted hedging plants are also available.
Winter bedding plants
We have a colourful selection of home-grown winter bedding plants. We also stock a range of basket and patio plants grown for their beautiful foliage. These are perfect for planting up hanging baskets or containers. Our planted seasonal outdoor containers and hanging baskets are ready now.
Gifts
We have some great gift ideas for the keen gardener or bird watcher in the family. We have a selection of outdoor ornaments too. If you are stuck for an idea, why not buy a National Garden Gift card, which is redeemable at many garden centres nationwide including Gotherington Nurseries.
Reward Voucher
We have a great range of products at the Nurseries, so why not use your reward voucher to treat yourself. It can be used towards anything except the purchase of gift cards.
To redeem your voucher at the till, just present your reward card at the start of the transaction. As this is an automated system, a voucher must be redeemed before the expiry date. We cannot accept expired vouchers.
A reminder that our opening hours are 9am – 5pm Monday – Saturday and 10am – 4pm on Sundays. We shall close at 2pm on 24th December 2025 and will re-open 9am on 2nd January 2026.
